Mozilla has released an update to its flagship browser which brings it to version 40. The most eye-catching part of this update is that Firefox now supports Windows 10 devices. Firefox 40 also brings a fresh new look for users of Windows 10. The tweaked, new Firefox UI is more streamlined with noticeably bigger and bolder design elements as well as more space for viewing the web pages.
With Firefox 40, Mozilla has made third party add-ons even more safe and secure. There will be a process to certify add-ons based on guidelines provided to add-on developers by the company. From now onward, users will see warnings next to unsigned add-ons in Firefox and in the future such add-ons will be automatically disabled.
