Firefox 27 Aurora is Ready for Windows 8

The metro version of Firefox which was scheduled to ship on December 10 has now slipped to January 2014. If everything goes well, Firefox 27 will bring a new Windows 8 optimised version featuring a beautiful and modern user interface. Apart from a tile-based Firefox Start experience, Firefox 27 Aurora has support for Windows 8 touch and swipe gestures, Windows Share integration, Firefox Sync and Snapped and Fill views. There is also support for WebGL for compelling 3D graphics and asm.js which enables developers to port high performance C++ games to the web. Also Firefox 27 Aurora allows you to run more than one service at a time with Firefox SocialAPI, thus enabling you to recieve notifications, chat and more from multiple integrated services.
