Firefox 22 brings WebRTC support and asm.js Optimizations enabled

Mozilla launched Firefox 22 on Tuesday. Though the new Firefox is mainly focussed on the developers, it has potential of changing the web. One of the most important feature added in Firefox 22 is WebRTC support. WebRTC enables developers to build web apps with video and audio calling facility as well as file sharing without the need of additional plugins. Another interesting feature is the asm.js optimizations which are now enabled for major performance improvements. Other changes in Firefox 22 are download progress in dock application in Mac OSX, support for display scaling options on high-res displays on Windows and improved WebGL rendering performance.
