An Early Look At The Next Generation Browser Lineup

The competition between browsers will be getting even stiffer as new browsers are coming up with innovative features and super cool interfaces that would definitely throw a tough challenge to the present dominants. In this post, we will discuss about three new browsers in the market - Vivaldi, Yandex Alpha and Spartan. None of these browsers has reached the stable version but they promise to offer something that would change the web.

1. Vivaldi

The Gorgeous Look of the new Vivaldi Browser
A completely new browser named Vivaldi has been launched by the former developers of Opera. The browser sports a clean and modern user interface with a high level of customization options including the ability to change the positions of tabs from top to bottom, left or right. There are a couple of other features such as notes, tab stacks and quick commands that will definitely prove useful in day to day usage. The technical preview of the browser is currently available for Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems.

2. Yandex Alpha

Yandex Alpha Browser offers a Sleek Minimalist UI to its users
The Yandex Browser is not a totally new offering but its Alpha Version is really virgin. It offers a sleek new user interface that would completely redefine the browsing experience. In this browser, the tabs are placed at the bottom. There is no URL bar and the title bar switches to address bar when required. The prime feature of this browser is its innovative user interface but we will still have to wait and see whether this UI will be accepted by the users. The Yandex Browser Alpha is currently not available as a stable release but you may still go and give it a spin.

3. Spartan

Microsoft's New Spartan Browser looks similar to Chrome
Spartan is a new browser being developed by Microsoft for its upcoming Windows 10 release. We don't yet have much information about this browser but what we already know is that the browser will mimic the user interface of Chrome except that the tabs will have square cut design unlike Chrome's curved tabs. Spartan is likely to replace the aging Internet Explorer on Windows. The browser is not available for preview but one can try out its new rendering engine on the latest release of Windows 10 Technical Preview.
