How To Disable Tools Pane in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is the gold standard for reliably viewing PDF files. Right? However an annoying problem has bugged almost every user of this extremely useful PDF viewer. It is the tools pane on the right side of the document window which opens every time one opens a document. Many won't bother about it, but there are some people who don't like it at all. If you are one of them, then you are at the right place. With this easy step-by-step guide you can disable the tools pane forever within a few seconds.

1. Open a PDF document in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.
2. Click on Edit menu and go to Preferences.
3. Now click Documents on the left sidebar.
4. Uncheck Open tools pane for each document option and click OK.

Voila! The next time you open a document in Adobe Reader, the tools pane will not appear on its own.
